For a JD Mortgage, I had good luck with IBERIABank. They offered 5% down with no PMI or points. Initial rate was 4.25% but then they offered a low-cost refi at 3.375%, again with no PMI or points. Just wanted to add this data point for your Texas readers. IBERIA in Dallas made this process very smooth. Again, thanks for all the resources you’re providing to fellow lawyers.
